Longer option seems a little shorter than last years which is a shame, but i think it's to keep it social as lots of the riders doing the short route, Ate the BBQ and cleared off before us doing the 72km even finished.....
Well worth the £20 when compared to the bigger events and a chence to ride some of the natural stuff in Brechfa.

Starting at 10am from Llansawel rugby club, using some of the finest trails in West Wales, all entrants are to be in teams of 2/3/4 + new solo category. Entry is £20 per person, camping is included in the entry fee.
Approx. 55km route with 35km short loop at the feed station if you’ve had enough!!
Include sections of the Raven and the Gorlech forest trails.

Having done the Mash-up twice now i'm looking forward to an event that might actually be organised properly!
Looking forward to seeing a few of the other trails Brechfa has to offer.
Last years timing was spot on, back to basics, a stop watch and teams set off at 30sec intervals..
Not bigged up by hype either, few freebies after and shower and into the Pub to kick back and chill..
If you go to the pub on the sat night expect some interesting sights, inc the old boy in the corner with a seat belt round his Bar stool..
I shall be doing it on my own as know one who wants to do it with me 😥
Brechfa trails are some of the best I've ridden. Had a 5 hour berm fest there last Sunday. WOOP!
Rather tempted to do this!
I'f be quite up for this, except it'd be my fourth weekend of racing in a row. Think I may be a bit knackered by then.
