Heading up to near Carmarthen later today to spend Christmas with the family and was planning on taking the bike. Does anyone know what conditions are like up there at the moment and how the trails at Brechfa are holding up?

Cheers

I haven't been in the last few weeks but knowing the rain we have had I would go for the gorlech red route. The surface is usually good in most weather but with more deep puddles after the amount of rain we've had this weekend. Overshoes and waters proofs recommended.

Raven doesn't hold up so well in the rain (soggy muddy climbs).

Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚

Did the Gorlech about 2 weeks ago after heavy rainfall. Surface is mostly well drained with the occasional puddle, the final sections were coverd with wet leaves which made it a bit more treacherous than usual.
