Hoping to head over to S Wales at some point this week, and with Brechfa very much on the to-do list any advice or tips would be appreciated.
I was thinking of the Gorlech trail in particular, and as I tend to rely upon my sense of direction am I likely to get lost or confused ? Is it very well signposted, and any particular do"s or don"ts to consider ?
Thanks in advance
Its a trail center, you have to be pretty stupid to get lost.
Very easy to follow, just keep an eye out for the signs.
The Raven is harder to follow, it shares sections with the Blue and one of the turns is hard to spot and on a flat out fast bit.
For the Gorlech - it's a great trail, the surface is always 5% ish more slippery than any other hardpack trail (it's very slately) and can make your bike feel like something's a miss. There's a couple of steep bits, one optional. Probably the rawest of the SWales centres. Oh BTW it's not really a centre per-se it's a centre type trail with a car park and a couple of grotty portable toilets. Decent pub near the entrance though.
