Does anyone still use these? Thoughts, do they work as planned etc? Are they weaker than a replaceable drop out?

I've got one on a steel frame, might just save me the ball-ache of having the gear hanger straightened.

Bent mech hangers can usually be straightened/replaced at the trailside, I don't fancy anyones chances of swapping a broken breakaway bolt in the same circumstances.
