braze on disc brake...

hey all,

wondering were i could purchase some disc brake tabs to be brazed on.

i have an old kona 1996 explosif and its v-brakes.v's are great but id like to start running discs as most things are disc now im sure ive seen disc tabs you can buy to be brazed on but im sure i have seen them

any help would be great links would help too

Argos Cycles sell some, I believe.

You can get various adaptors that bolt to the frame and allow disks to be run if you don't want to faff around too much.

As above try Argos or Ceeway as they sell them from stock.

Argos added one to my Kona - made it look factory fresh:

the additional brace may be important for frame longevity too...

Especially if your dropouts are like these:

Argos thought mine should be okay without but it was only an extra tenner and I think it makes it look neater.
