So its that Brass Monkeys time of year again.
This year I've gone up into the 40+ category but despite a promising start to trying to get out and ride more life has got in the way as it so often does.
Still, come Sunday I shall be preparing to drag my unfit punk arse around whatever lovely course the BM/Gorrick team have put together with all the finesse of a baby tank ๐ฏ
See you there ๐
So unfit I didn't even enter, was fun last year though.
I'm half tempted. It's pretty local and I am trying to up my mileage in preparation for the Trans Savoie next year. Last time I entered a Gorrick I was one of only a few in baggies with an enduro rig - is this one likely to be much the same?
Might give the 2 hour one a whirl...
While I think it is generally considered an xc series, for me its more about the motivation to get out and ride and the courses are always really well put together.
The world doesn't need to see in lycra so I too shall be wearing baggies ๐
Just remembered it's my son's birthday so the chances of getting a pass might be pretty slim. Never mind, might do the next one though..
Enjoy!
I had all rounds in the diary months ago.
It seems newly added events (family stuff, extended family stuff) have trumped that...
Not sure why I bother...!!
DrP
I'll be at round 2 - but figured entering this one after a day at twickenham wouldn't bode so well!
Round 1 postponed ๐
Now to be held on 18th Dec, which was the date for Rd 2.
Everyone who entered should have an email.
