See - the idea of ebay is that you can put in a bid in advance of the end time so that you secure the item at the price you were willing to pay.

Im with druid all this sniping business is stupid. If everybody who wants them puts a bid in for how much they are willing to pay then you will get it if you bid the highest and not get carried away.

how do you get carried away by sniping? (you enter the max amount you want to pay and leave it.) 🙄
