Not sure if anyone has ever posted this before, but I bought my missus one of the cheap 120mm droppers from Start Fitness to replace her dead 100mm KS.

Due to the insertion depth, it was just slightly too tall! Had a bit of a dig around and remembered that the internals are very similar to the PNW Bachelor. Found a video online showing that the One Up shims work with this post.

So... gave it a try on the Brand-X and it works! Travel adjusted with a cut down One Up shim 🙂

That's interesting, what sort of cost was involved?

I think you can make the shim too, from a bit of plastic cut to size.

I'm sure it's been posted about in the past.

£10 for a pack of shims (3 per pack). You can probably make them quite easily, but you'll need the measurements and it would be pretty hard without taking the post apart first.

I'd pay someone a tenner to make me three in the right size 🙂

I tend to agree mate. Good to have options for the tight fisted though.... like I can be sometimes.😁

Missus did a Lakes ride yesterday in the muck, driving rain and at one point.... a waist deep puddle that we had to climb out of!

Dropper performed flawlessly and the reduced travel was spot on!
