Is it 2 tyres and both won't seat ?  Are the rims taped and could you take off a layer if doubled-up ?
(would you back yourself to ever get the tyre off in the middle of a rainy ride even if/when they do go on?)

Have you got one side seated already? Presume you have. Have you got it sealed and just can't get the bead seated, or are you having trouble getting it sealed initially?

The last set of tyres that I struggled with (Gravel King SKs) I ended up putting a tube in to get it seated, taking the tube out leaving one side seated, heating the tyre up with a hair dryer to make it more pliable, and then using a compressor. Oddly, I'm still in favour of tubeless, despite all that.

are you sure its not seated? some don't go on with a pop.

failing that, more pressure and pulling the unseated bits out by hand would be my approach

I've had three different Schwalbe tyres do this lately and they've all blown off the rim, then wouldn't stay on the rim. Maybe speak to the shop you got it from about it, it may be a warranty job.

Yes, you can see it and feel it when you ride, like a clown's bike.

Just a single layer of electrical tape with a tube in.

My tyre is fitted and inflated. Just egg-shaped.

I've ridden on it, refitted it, left it in the sunshine, massaged the beads, tried soaped and dry, inflated to max pressure, let it down again, repeat.

No. it only need to cover the sp0ke holes.

Fixed. I remembered the old washing machine trick - it's clean and straight now.

How you managing with electrical tape, every time i've opened one up with a "problem" the tapes stretched and torn into the spoke holes. "It's always worked for me before".

Yeah, no. This is the 6th/7th/8th time you've been here with a tyre that fails to stay inflated...

What's the "old washing machine trick" for future inflation issues btw

Wash the tyre in the machine. Mine's quite old but I'd imagine a newer one being fine, too. I just haven't tried it.

LG in this case, but it works in a Bosch as well and might be ideal, if agricultural, for German-branded tyres.
