Are brambles triffids in disguise? Following a mate last night down a narrow woodland track..he went past a tree and, without warning, this big spiky bramble popped out of the undergrowth and tried to pull me from my bike 😯
Luckily I had a good enough grip on the bars that it failed. Had it succeeded I'd have been a gonner for sure...

Yup - one got me in exactly the same way - just jumped out of the bush and proceeded to 'caress' my arm with the whole 6 feet of its length. 👿

Trees are just as bad - they're always stepping out in front of me (Honest Guv! 😉 )

I was riding a bit of a cheeky trail a couple of weeks back and it was so overgrown with spiky plants on either side I had to take both hands off the bars to stop my arms getting shredded. not sure how I rode that one out. evil plants are taking their revenge on the hoomans.

The nettles are getting a bit boisterous these days. Glad I'm not wearing my kilt...
