Having a bit of an issue with this at the moment. Hope X2s, 180mm rotor.
Fine until I've ridden for a bit then a persistent howl. clears with a dab on the brakes but then starts up again. I've tried cleaning the disc and changing the pads but am now out of ideas.
Suggestions?

How's the power?
I have a feeling that tiny amounts of fluid can escape past the seals if they are old, which can cause contamination. How old are they?

I had this with a leaky caliper. The loss of pressure was very noticeable though.

They're probably 10 years old, but I've had them serviced more recently than that.
No noticeable loss of pressure etc.

Did they change the seals?
