ok I've got some frogglegs with trp brakes:http: http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/23115/TRP_Inplace_Adjust_Cyclocross_Alloy_Pads_and_CNC_Holders
after a few rides the pads are right down.
I believe people rave about kool stop salmon pads.
heres the (stupid) question...will new pads simply screw into the brake "shoes" or will I need the complete thing again.
You unscrew the small screw and the rubber insert slides out. So you only need to buy the rubber insert.
are the inserts all the same size? or will I need to keep to trp ones?
(looks like every brand is different sizes)??
Not sure but mine are Tektro and I've run Avid and BBB pads which were the same size. Sorry can't be more helpful.
