Further to my recent post about keeping/ selling Genesis Fortitude. I am going to keep it, trying to figure out setup for putting some woodchippers on.
Current BB7 mtb brakes - can't see road type levers that are definitely compatible - does anyone know if the Tektro RL520 will have enough pull? Or recommend something compatible to prevent me needing buy new brakes.
Next issue is trying to sort the Alfine shifter as looks like it will need to be mounted out front near stem - anyone got better suggestion?

Isn't the Fortitude a mountain bike ?
If so, why are you asking about road [type] levers ?
What are Woodchippers ?
Yes it is a mtb, but putting salsa woodchipper bars ( off road drop bars) on and skinnier tyres for commute. Was toying with selling and buy cx bike but have decided to adapt what I have already instead of buying complete new bike.
And that is why I have asked about road type levers.
Edit - though with new bars, shifter and levers might just go with Jones bars and keep current bits
