Does anybody know whether Hope brake hose is compatible with Avid Juicy brakes? I want to fit out a tandem and have sourced cheap Hope hose off the reel which is standard 5mm but can't find any relevant info.

The hose might work, the stainless certainly will but the fittings are different. Why not use goodridge kit for a tandem?
yups.
hose is... hose. inner/outer diameter, structural stiffness and uv stability of materials are the real considerations.
Fittings are a different matter and may well even vary within brand.
Based on your original post of Hope hose off the reel you should be fine; just make sure you buy the right fittings for your brakes.

Internal diameter could be an issue.
Does anybody know internal diameter for Hope and Avid hose?
