See the quick release lever thingy on the side of these calipers? it serves no other function than to release the tension on the brake cable doesnt it?

I sold these on ebay and the buyer is saying that it just tightens the cable up when it should act like a cam and loosen the cable to release the wheel. I think maybe he installed them wrong?
I let him return them as couldnt be bothered getting a bad rating, but been thinking he returned them for no reason?
Sounds like he's attached the cable with the cam in the open position is all.
Yup he installed it wrong. Sounds like he installed it in the open position so that when he closed it it just tightened the cable more.
Right, Ill stick these back on ebay then Unless anyone else here wants them? Ill try the classifieds 1st.
