Just building an ancient Dawes edge 853 up, it's a 26'er. Gonna use it for work and commuting.

Either buying a 29er HT tomorrow if it fits, or ordering another I know definitely does (if they have any left!) hoping the former fits! Will replace a 26er inbred

Bought a 29er FS, which has replaced a longer travel 26er FS.

Hope to build up a hardtail this year, probably singlespeed. Value for money on what I can get hold of will dictate the wheel size!

Lots of enthusiasm for (and buying of) 29ers among the chaps I ride with at the moment.

I used to think 29ers looked odd but these days I catch myself looking at 26in wheels and thinking "they look tiny".

I see the advantages of both and I like variety in my riding so I think I'll have at least one of each for the foreeable future.

Mmmm, rules for inclusion in the tally = definite purchases only. No, "I'm thinking of getting xxxx in the next few months"

But feel free to tell us all anyway 🙂

My first MTB,Vitus Rapide 1 2012. Only wanted 26's (plenty big enough for me).

My other 2 bikes have 28's and 20's (beach cruiser and Minivelo)

My newest bike is a 26" Dekerf which I bought after selling a titanium 29er.

I still have a Kona Unit 29er which I use for general messing around and cycling to work.

After numerous miles on both 26" and 29" bikes though, any future bikes will be 26".

The MDE has already been ordered, so that must count. The Cotic isn't thinking of getting, it's am getting, so that's to your discretion.

Haven't bought an MTB in a long time (though I've wanted to, still riding the ones I've loved for years).

Last purchase was 700c... A Carbon Road bike. Replaced an ally road bike.

Quite fancy a 29er again (not to replace anything, to complement my existing 26" wheeled bikes), but really thinking a CX bike (so another 700c) would make a lot of sense for a lot of my riding.

Yup,got a lovely frame in the last CRC clearout and doing a slow build for the summer (yes, there will be one this year ).

Long term ,I have been wondering about replacing my CX with a 29er, instead of going for another CX frame(with disc mounts).

My latest purchase was a 29er HT - BUT only as a winter hack.

A niggling lower back problem has kept me off a 26in HT for years and I've been happy with my FS bikes but getting fed up with all the gloop and mud and constant cleaning/servicing of pivots and shocks so wanted a simple hack bike I could just drag in and out without too much worry, tried a 29er and found it much more tolerable than a 26in HT, so got a 29er and it's used just to keep up some xc mileage and fitness and nothing too technical ... can't wait til it dries out a bit so I can get back out on my Heckler for some fun .... although, I'd quite like a go on a Superlight 29er!
