Hi all,
I was surprised earlier to find my daughters new bike having a loose bottom bracket, in fact the nut had completely undone and the bottom bracket was sliding side to side! On inspect it seems to have simply undone and it looks as though it requires possibly a two pronged tool to retighten. Could someone please point me in the right direction to the right tool please?

Looks like it's missing the lock nut so will always come loose.
You usually tighten that cup up in the picture with a screw driver( basically pushing it round,doesn't take much pressure) then secure with the lock nut
Yep the locknut is missing along with a washer that goes behind the locknut, which is strange as the pedal would stop them falling off the crank and disappearing
How new is the bike? could they been missing since you bought it and now only just worked loose?
