Hi all,
The bottom bracket in my Orange Crush has finally given in, but I don't know what I am looking for as a replacement. Will any bottom bracket fit providing it has an English thread and is 68/73mm?

My cranks are Race Face Evolve XC if that makes any difference.

Thanks for any help,

Bert.

If the Crush is one of the recent ones, the bottom bracket is a Race Face X type according to the Orange site. Look like one of these clicky?
If so either get a direct replacement, or just get any HollowTech II bottom bracket.

Any HT11 BB should work, however if it's more than a year or so old(one of the orange coloured ones)then i'd strongly recommend getting the BB faced to the min. recommended width(think it's .25mm undersize).A lot were coming from the factory with tight BBs, most of which needed facing back to prevent over preloading the bearings(the rest had damaged "top hats", probably due to somebody hammering the axle in without it's plastic guide cap fitted).
