Hi Folks
Bit of techy help would be appreciated
Is this slotted circular plate around the BB on my trek for attaching chain devices or something else? Would like a BB mounted device using ISCG (?) but not sure I can on this.

Its not for mounting anything. It's just to protect the frame if you drop the chain. As its a press fit bb you will need to run a chain guide that clamps to the seat tube.

Cheers mate, thought that would be the case. BB mounted devices look so much neater. Ah well
