Has anybody had experience of using 800ml/1000ml bottles in the Specilaized Zee or Zefal side loading bottle cages, and are they strong enough to retain the larger bottles on rough terrain?

I use planet X 800ml bottle in a zefal side load on a cotic jeht. It's absolutely fine 👌

I've always used a big (800ml?) bottle in a zee cage, it's gone through loads of proper mtb stuff, enduros etc and I've never dropped one. Best cage I've ever used!

I use 750ml ones in the Mt Zoom side cages with no problems. Not tried bigger as they won't fit in my frame

Use a zefal Magnum in a spesh Zee, never fallen out
