Anyone riding one? Reviews look great and I'm quite tempted to buy but I'm surprised I haven't seen much on here about them. For 1k is there anything else even worth considering? I've already got a reverb that would go straight on it.

I see them about, it's really hard to fault them for the money, I know the v1 had some issues but they've been sorted now I believe and AFAIK no one got left with a bike that didn't work - my mate is waiting for mediums to come back into stock.

If I was looking for my first FS or making the jump to 650B I'd be more than tempted, if even in 2 years it's evolved into something a bit flasher.

A mate has the v1 and loves it. If I was after an entry level full suspension I'd have one in a heartbeat

I was in my local gooutdoors last week and I heard the manager being asked by someone on the phone about them. Afterwards he was moaning to his assistant about losing out on another grand and that was 3 already today as they never had stock in. It was only 12pm, they can't get the bikes in quick enough to sell them so there must be plenty people buying them.

If your cassette is deore then it wont be compatible with the expander as the cassette doesn't come apart. The new 10 speed deore shown here http://singletrackworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/video-unboxing-the-new-shimano-deore-m6000-groupset/ includes a 11-42 cassette so you'd be better and cheaper waiting for that. Your derailleur will be fine.

They do, you just need to drill the pins. I've done it a few times, it's a 5 minute job.
