I had to check as I was up that area on Thursday on a bosch eeb, but then the bike most likely wouldn't work if the display had fallen off, plus I would have noticed. 😊

I think the newer Bosch system will still operate without the Kiox attached.
I use a thin leash to tether mine to the headset, just in case. And reflective yellow taped it, just in case again.
