Busy day for Keswick MRT!

50) 16 May 13:41 Castle Crag area

A man (47 yrs) came off his mountain bike whilst descending the rocky track. He hit his head and broke his humerus.

51) 16 May 14:50 Castle Crag area

As we were dealing with the above incident, another mountain biker (M 40 yrs) also fell off his bike lower down the track, managing to land on his face. He was also treated at the scene.

yes, he was bimbling between 2 rocks, lost his balance and couldn't unclip his new cleats, so he went headfirst into a rock with his arm under him. He had a spiral fracture just above the elbow, in 5 pieces ๐Ÿ™

I had a look but it seemed to be a minor cut on the chin...

Well tell him to MTFU then and stop using up resources, which I presume are volunteer run.

he was from was a different group of riders - after seeing Chris's accident I think we all bimbled down Castle Crag quite cautiously ๐Ÿ™‚

I know it's not funny but that picture looks like a bunch of mountain bikers sneaking in on a kill made by the mountain rescue guys
