Finally venturing into the world of 650b and will be getting a set of Pikes to go on my new frame with boost rear end. Question is, as I’m not planning on running plus size wheels should I get the boost Pikes or save a few quid and stick to the standard 100mm hub spacing?

If you can afford it I'd go for boost, personally. You can adapt normal hubs for a boost fork if you need to; you can't adapt a normal fork for boost hubs...
