I'm looking at a set of these [url= http://http://www.trekbicyclesuperstore.com/m/product/bontrager-xr3-team-issue-tlr-tire-29-inch-178703-1.htm ]TLR 29-3 [/url] the new version as a nice high volume all rounder.
Tread pattern wise what are they similar too, are they knobblier than a Racing Ralph, more akin to a Spesh Ground Control?

Be interesting to see feedback on this as I thought about this then went for a 2.3 Ground Control instead as it was available from the LBS and I thought it may shed mud better. In almost all aspects the GC is great - fast, sheds mud, grippy when leant over...but it is lowish volume for a 2.3. The bonty may be bigger.

If the 2.35" 29-4 I've got on the front if my rigid ht is anything to go by they'll be huge
