Right...well i have just managed to get the guts to enter my first solo 24hr race, only to find that solo 24hr men's had sold out 🙄
There are still places on the 12hr solo, so apart from 12 hours shorter, how would it differ?
Been told by a mate who does 24hr solo's that a 12hr solo [i]could[/i] be harder?
Just keep going. They aren't likely to throw a stinger across the track.
Maybe it'd be good to do a 12 before doing a 24hr to get an idea. If you're going to be totally alone, come and have bbq at the trail snails super-camp.
yeah, the trail snail racing camp will be the place to be, if your idea of fun is bad jokes about chamois cream (I'm bringing my own this year thanks Rich), 'hair metal' motivational music and bad bike mechanics. There will also be a bbq, real ale and the full range of batchelor's super noodles.
