hi guys an gals.anyone use these and any good or bad reports please 😀
Fast on hard stuff but have just taken them of now its wet. Changed to XR4's - nobbly tyre & still suprizingly fast on tarmac sections - running them tubeless with sealent - £48 a pair for I thought was a bargin for tubeless ready.
Got xr4's - awesome but BIG! And I only bought a 2.2, the 2.4 must be huge. Had to take rear off my fuel ex as it was rubbing the swingarm 🙁
XR4's are pish, might be ok in the dry but useless in the wet, couldn't get any grip in anything other than a straight line on a smooth surface, tyres pinged off and slid on anything standing remotely proud of the surface, only tyre that I have spun 180 degrees on whilst riding in a straight line, gave up trying to get grip when I had dropped the pressures down to 10psi front and 14psi in the back.
+1 for XR4's on South Downs Mud, XR2's are rubbish in the wet, good in the dry.
XR2s superb big fasy comfy DRY TYRE, no good this time of year in UK.
cheers guys.
iv,e got a pair sorted cheap so i,ll keep them for sunnier times.
