After deciding to go tubeless on my Trek remedy 8 after very good advice on this forum. I have bought the Bontrager rim strips as suggsted but all the articles I have read say they need to be put on in the correct orientation due to them being asymmetric with the rim but the strips have no markings to aid with this and look the same both ways. Can anyone tell me a way to work out which way is correct thanks in advance Paul

Bonty do two types of rim strip. One asymmetric and the other not. The trough in the "middle" of the asymmetric ones is off to one side. If your rims have an asymmetric spoke bed (off centre) then you need the asymmetric rim strip. If not you need the standard one.

So if you have Duster rims on your Remedy (which I believe are asymmetric) you will need the asymmetric rim strip.
