I Know tyre choice is very personal but ... running Bonty Mud X over winter on a lightweight hardtail, tubeless, Kent singletrack routes and v happy with them.
After a summer tyre (altho wondering if it's worth just sticking with the Mud X as they seem pretty good?) and wondered if anyone had tried Jones XR 2.1's?
Or alternatives (light and grippy).

As a summer tyre, they're very good. Pretty fast, quite big and grippy, not too heavy and tubeless compatible from the off. Not very good in the winter though (but then that's of no concern I suppose).
DO NOT keep your Mud X's on for the summer, not only will they drag a lot worse than a summer tyre, they'll wear out pretty quickly on the hard trails too.
