As above, got to change the freehub bearings and i can' seem to find a manual on line, the wheels are 2010 race xlite.Any ideas anyone?
I think I remember the hubs are made by another manufacturer (possibly DT). If you can work out the manufacturer have a look on their website for a service manual.
Call your local Trek dealer. They'll have access to Trek's online tech specs and can tell you exactly what you need to know. I think it's probably a DT Onyx though. Can't remember the bearings.
The Trek tech site doesn't give details of the freehub body bearings, only the hub bearings (2 x 6902). The freehub body is Trek part #420388 @ £57.09

There's many of us who'be had this issue - try getting it sorted under warranty or go hope pro2
Might be worth looking on pedalon.co.uk they've got a good range of bontrager spares/freehubs
DT Onyx/Cerit in my experience, Dead easy to service. Only issue is that the manual is no longer on DT site by the looks of it.
Older Race x Lites were DT240s, but had changed to sommat else by then, never actually done a later one, but fairly certain they're not DT.
