I'll let the tech bed in for a decade or two, then give it a try.

Intriguing and admirable but I won't be an early adopter

Kind of cool - but over-complicated!

Over complicated solution to a non existent problem. Cool idea though.

Fantastic solution to something that isn't needed.

What would be the benefit over conventional ?

I can't see it working very well when it's wet or muddy either

It's one of those ideas - and I see them quite often - where the inventor gets so emotionally invested in the design that they can't take a step back and say "why would anyone want this?"

At least the old baler twine I always have in my back pocket would have a use. I could be the most popular riding companion out there ๐Ÿ™‚

I saw that at the NEC last year, it's a great idea when everything's nice and new and clean and dry but give it a day soaked in rain and road grime and it'd be just as manky as a chain.
