Whats the difference between XR mud team issue (tlr) tyres and Mud X tyres, look the same!

XR Mud is the new name for the same old tyre.

Yup - asked the question directly to Bontrager myself, and got the same answer.
Same tyre, new name.
Mud X on my 26er, XR mud on the 29er - same superb performance on both.

Got a set of MudX on the Bandit and XR Mud on the Inbred. Absolutely identical.
