The rack mount at the top of the seat stay on my tricross is broken in some way - there's a bolt in there (no rack), and when I try to remove it the fitting is just turning with the bolt, the fitting's come loose some how. Anyone experienced this before?
I can drill the bolt out I guess. But is the mount bolexed, or is there a way of fixing this?

need to find a way of gripping the insert (rivnut) and loosening the bolt.

Once you get the bolt out a dab of superglue may fix the turning fitting.
