Having recently ridden Cut Gate and Llyn Cowlyd without needing to change into something clean and dry at the end of the ride, can anyone recommend some otherwise bogtastic routes that have benefited from this sustained spell of dry weather?

Anything over blackstone edge and this weekend did a route from Great Dun Fell over Knock Moor and around Cow Green Res to High Cup Nick, which although damp in places was pretty good going for the most part,

My most local of bridleways which I don't bother with due to its swamp like conditions is currently bone dry!ย  I haven't got around to riding it yet, but a wee walk last week made it look promising!

It may be one for the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

Pretty much anywhere that's normally a bogfest seems ok.ย  The moor tops at Ard Rock were dusty.ย  I'm guessing most of the UKs other moorland is the same - we're heading to Dartmoor for the bank holiday.

Theres a section on Holcombe Moor called the Dead Marshes. Its usually a complete toilet. The last couple of months have made it a joy to ride.
