The more expensive models (not mine) have a carbon fork fitted, that comes with disc mounts.
Anyone know if it's possible to buy one aftermarket?

There are these -

or these

Or you could use one of the "exotic" MTB rigid carbon forks from eBay. Depends on looks. If it was my bike I'd perhaps go for it, it's up to you.

I work in halfords and i know its possible to order them. I dont know the price though.

Go into your local store and ask how much they cost, when the sales assistant gives you a blank look tell him to look it up under "spare by spec" and youll find a price. I imagine £100 or so. You can probabyl find something better elsewhere.

Won't be the same as the Boardman spec, but forgood value carbon road forks worth looking here:

http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/carbon-race-bike-forks/

and here:

http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/prodpage.asp?type=sub&sub=FORR&sales_group=NULL&filter_colour=&filter_size=&sortby=ASC-PRICE&inStock=NO&perpage=1000

If you opt for a non-Boardman one you need to make sure that the headset and brakes are compatible.
