Continuing from my thread regarding CX wheels on a road bike (after measuring everyone advised correctly that CX tyres would not fit) I had a quick look for a cheap CX bike to ride my local woods and the cheapest/best value i could find was Boardmans CX Comp. But it seems it's either unavailable/discontinued/out of stock. It's not on Halfords website at all as far as I can see. Is it no longer in production?

There was a second hand one on leisurelakes site under Bikes.

Must have been sold, but few other non boardman makes there

Actually saw Sir Chris riding one lst sunday very fast on a bridleway as he lives local to me.

Best off ringing your local branch. Certain sizes do seem to sell out quicker, though.

Probably sold out. Ring around locally. I've got one as a winter road/touring/do it all bike. I love it.
Got mine for around £465 I think (10% halfords sale, 10% British cycling and 3% quidco).
