Hi
I've got my sons birthday coming up (10yrs) first he asked for a jump bike but I told him it would be to heavy. I've steered him towards a bmx but still they are heavy. So I'm thinking of a aluminium bmx maybe like a racing bmx ( had one before wish we hadn't sold it).
He has an xc hardtail for best, this would be riding round the village going to skate/bmx park.
Any suggestions what's good or bad £150 budget.
Can't find any on eBay.
Don't like halfords.
Thanks in advance.

If its for going to the skatepark then a race bike is not as a good as a street/dj bmx .

No, I hear what you say. I dont think he'll be going down the ramps on it just riding there hanging out. He likes popping wheelies and bunny hops, normal bmx are to heavy.

I really don't think the weight will be an issue. Get him what he wants and he'll use it. If he is at a skatepark he will be riding the ramps, it's phenominal what kidz can pull off these days. Try and get him a cool / trendy / in helmet and hopefully he'll wear it!

Look online at Winstanleys / Crucial / CRC within your budget.
