Can anybody help please?
What size bmx frame should I be looking for?
I'm 5 foot 9 tall if it makes any difference.
a bmx frame size is determined by the top tube length. from centre seat tube to centre head tube.
20.0 is on the small side and is for short people with arms of pixies.
21.25 is on the long side for those lanky bastards.
im 5'11 and ride a 20.75 inch frame.
im 5-9 and ride a 21" chase dehart fit

BMX frames are also measured as "actual" not "effective" TT and seat angles vary wildly from steep (Dialled Bikes) to very slack (Crupi), which obviously affects the usable rider area (not much point in having a long TT if the seat angle is slack and a lot of the TT length is behind the BB).
At 5'9" I'd say something between 20.5" and 21.5" is ball park.
