I'm posting to try and help a friend out. He did this to his bike. Lives in Thailand. The local BMC people tell him to contact main BMC offices and vice versa.
I'd imagine that drilling and riveting isn't too much of a problem but is there a generic mech hanger that will work?
BMC won't send him a hangar and want him to ship the bike to Switzerland with a turnaround of many months for the repair.
