[#2440045]

I have a Large Blur Classic frame. Seat tube is 20.5cm. My plan is to build it up to my liking as and when I can afford the bits I want second hand.

However, I am somewhere between 6'4" and 6'5", though relatively light as I am skinny. I am worried that the bike will not be big enough for me once I have built it up. Obviously, as it is just a frame at the moment, it is difficult to know for sure. The XL frame would have been better for sure, but I only have the Large.

With a layback seatpost and a 100mm ish stem, would this bike be too small for me? I don't want to waste time and money building up a bike only to find it is like riding a BMX when its done!

Maybe not a lot of help but .. I'm a skinny long legged 6'2" also riding a large blur, 90mm stem and inline post suits me. Your plan may work.

I must be Richteabiscuit's clone by the look of it! Identical size and set-up here.

Blur Classic: Wondering about a shorter stem as I struggle to get my weight right back for manualling etc..
