I quite fancy doing a ride from this months [whisper it] MBR [/whisper it] that goes from Abergavenny and around Blorenge. Having never ridden there is it likely to be a clartfest after all this rain or does the area drain quite well?

Most valleys stuff is sandstone, hence gritty in the wet which makes it rideable but it shags your drivetrain and brake pads. Dunno about the Blorenge specifically tho since I've only done it on the road which, on a road bike with a 39/27 bottom gear is frigging hard work let me tell you.
