First time out with the new rims last night and yes, the sarky comments were flowing. And that was in the dark.
Anyone other than me like them?

Utterly munting.

Is that a canoe outside your shed, or are you just pleased to see me?

Haven't you ever heard the phrase "green and blue, looks a bit poo"?

It actually works very well for me, but then arses are like fingerprints, every one slightly different.

I hope you have a cockpit cover on that canoe, you'll get all manner of creepy crawlyism otherwise...

There's a saying about blue & green, isn't there?

I like the rims.............just not on that bike!!

But it'd be a bit dull, especially on here, if we all liked the same stuff. If it works in your head, it works.

It's the sort of colour combination all of us should own at some point:

It looks like a bike that's been put together for riding, not showing off in a trail centre carpark (or in daylight).

Glad you like it MostlyBalanced..!

Perhaps I should have used the title "Spritebike or Shitebike"

yeah, but the one above is all linked.logos on frame, chainring, rims, headset spacers, lock on collars, logos on fork.
besides it's a different shade of green.
tonal range is completely different.
having said that,I think it looks allright.
maybe a yellow handlebar.and red grips.just go for it.
where did you get the bell?
still trying to find that floating eyeball bell.
the on one ladybird one is nice too.

I used to have blue Azonic DW bars that would have gone perfectly with those rims. Quite like them!

For me, that's a bit minging. However, that Scott above, that was in Fastfoxus looks amazing!

Yes it would look better without the mudguard, but at this time of year I'd look a lot worse without it.

With fat tyres and a relatively upright riding position it's really good for chugging through the slop we get down here through the winter. Certainly not a race bike but a very good 'keeping going' bike.
To my mind it's the perfect winter bike; simple, solid and with enough personal touches for it to be MY winter bike.
