I have just had a great day out at Blessingbourne Trails in Northern Ireland to complete the set of NI trail centres. The red is now up to 8kms (although my GPS said 9) with some truly beautifully constructed singletrack that has some brilliant downs but also some technical climbing options which makes a change from fireroad and tarmac.

As a Scotsman I was a bit concerned about the £5 parking charge but it clearly wasn't putting many off as the carpark was pretty full and there was plenty of banter and happy faces.

Definitely going back and looking at a night ride sometime soon.

I've very fond memories of BB as i took the most the family down last year for a day out. For most of them it was their first taste of off-roading and a great time was had by all. But as a family oriented trail centre it was a little odd they had a very short blue run and a relative long red but nothing inbetween. Do the new trails address this?

I must get a convoy together again and check them out.

So Dogsby, now you've ridden them all, what you think? Any favourites?
