Just noticed there's no bleed valve on the caliper. Can I get a fitting to screw into the port once the torx is removed or can I screw in a bleed nipple from an older brake?
Cheers
I just did a top down Syndicate/Marshy's Method on mine.
I would expect either works - consider those 'bleed ports' as you would a Magura or SRAM without the nipple that older shimanos had. I have always used a screw in connector from my box of 'any brake, we got you' adaptors I bought on ebay about 15 years ago...
There should be a rubber bung on the side of the calliper. You pop that off and attach the hose to bit that's now uncovered. Then you open the port by turning the hex on the top of the calliper. Check page 38 of this manual for a picture of what I mean.
Cheers Mr P. 👍
