Classic. I'm assuming its a wind up by someone given the profile pic and the fact its their only ride.

By the number of KOM's he must think he's pretty handy ๐Ÿ™‚

Ha ha!

First "ride" out with my new Garmin Oregon and at the pub I checked my stats to discover that my max speed was 140kmh ๐Ÿ˜ฏ I then realised that I'd taken it on the train to work to figure out how some of the features worked and hadn't reset it ๐Ÿ™„ A bit of cropping sorted it out.

Max speed listed and looks like it leads straight to his front door.

I think he'll need to crop the entire ride for that to count! Maybe he uses it, but normally goes private.

The best bit is that he's missed out on a couple KOMs (unfortunate he still beat me on them all) ๐Ÿ˜†

I got taken to hospital in a police car with blue lights flashing last week. Got a few KOMs. Left it up for a while to bask in the glory of 148kmph max speed and loads of KOMs!

His maximum looks to be 119 mph...191.5 kmh.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Last walk I logged had a max speed of 77kmph. GPS data point error. Max speeds and climbing / descending stats are worthless. Many circular rides I do have different climb / descend figures

Interestingly enough I just put strava on to drive to tesco and back. Despite being at the upper end of the speed limits (if you know what I mean) I have only taken KMC by a second or two.

Some of them have people who only manage a 9 mph average speed on an 8 mile ride, doing 36 mph segments uphill. Think I will leave mine on.
