[Closed] Bladder leaks and mirth

I planned a long ride across the New Forest today so filled my 3 litre camelbak. I put in on the sofa while I did some faffing to find an angry wife and a wet spot on the sofa. I had put the bladder down on top of the bite valve and it had leaked.

How could I be so stupid, how could I walk away with it obviously leaking, why don't I pay attention etc.

The phone goes and we have to go and do some stuff. Wife puts the camelback in the conservatory to dry out and we go out.

Just got back and the camelbak is empty and we have a paddling pool in the conservatory. Apparently the bag was on top of the bite valve and it leaked.

Could have happened to anyone apparently.
