[#3916107]

Fitted a blackspire stinger to the ISCG mounts (no washers) on my (2010 Remedy 7) frame and then re-fixed my crank arms and annoyingly the bolts on the crank that hold the sprockets on hit the bolts that fix the stinger to the ISCG points (the protrude very slightly from the stinger) when you spin the crank, its very close and they only just hit but cant screw them in any more.

Would it be stupid to add an extra 2.5mm spacer to the drive side of my bottom bracket even tho its set up right? (checked the shimano docs)

Anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to the world of chain devices. Get a file out and file the heads of the stinger bolts so they're flush with the back plate and do the same with the granny ring bolts so they're flush with the granny ring.

What he said. Had to do the same thing to both my bikes.

On my 2010 remedy I had to file down the actual surface of the stinger 1-1.5mm else the chain rubbed.
