I have been trying to fit a blackspire chainring device to my 2010 alpine 160 but having problems. If i fit it without any spacers ( as original set up) the chamfered M6 bolts are too close to the chainring bolts such that it prevents turning. If i fit a spacer then the crank binds onto the bottom bracket causing excess friction. Anybody else had this problem?
I had problems running a truvativ stylo crank with my stinger and hope BB, so I bought a shimano saint crank and now it works fine.
Any chance of a photo of your set up, with a good view of the BB/frame from the bottom?
I'm presuming you mean the top of the granny ring bolts are just touching the stingers back plate?
A little gentle filing on the top of the chainring bolts worked for me - just 1/2mm did the trick alternatively a 1/2mm bb spacer.

Had similar problems but all sorted after emailing Blackspire and Dave @ Orange.
