Any tips for this?
Thinking an ebay tyre-specific paint pen gonna do the job, but they seem to be for car tyres, and I wonder if they are OK on MTB tyres with their much thinner casing -- I read up a little on this and some suggested that some paints and potentially Sharpie's may eat into tyre rubber
I used one of the extra stinky, highly toxic marker pens to change "Specialized Ground Control" into a variety of words - some rude 🙂
No noticeable effect on tyres or dying in ball of flames.
Is this just because you failed to align the valve and logo before setting up tubeless?

A couple of years
I just used a Sharpie as I didn’t like running a WTB with a Maxxis tyre. Ant then a white OEM Maxxis and a yellow one. They’re cheap and easy to touch up. I’m sure a car tyre pen would be fine.

Well, the point here is that la difference doesn't have to be lived with. It can be redacted, expunged, leaving only The One True Colour.
(which is a kind of purpley-black, if the light's on it)
I've always used matt black spray paint, all the way round the sidewalls. Much more even coverage and less obvious.

Michelin run-r can easily be changed by adapting the first r to a c, and the last r to a t.
How do you get sponsored by Specialized then...!?
Just ask any non-Maxxis sponsored rider on the WC circuit. Especially anyone sponsored by Kenda or Specialized. They’re experts at colouring in their tyre logos.

I love how they don’t even bother switching them out for Specialized pictures in post-ride photos nowadays
