Anyone have experience of the Blackburn Mammoth mini pumps? It's a few quid cheaper with the old head that needs switching round to fit Schreader or Presta rather than the spangly new 'anyvalve' head...

Is the anyvalve head as robust?

Thanks for your input...

Chris.

Got two Mammoths, had them for years- excellent pumps. Not had the fancy head, so can't comment on that, but if you've had to swap on the trail(for somebody else, who's partner removed theirs without telling them), struggled to get the rubber cup out, then had it fly into the undergrowth never to be seen again, followed up by a 3 mile walk to a petrol station, it'll sound like a good option.

That type of head works well.

Whether it's worth it for you? On idea. All my bikes are presta, mini pump used rarely.
